Carlisle Team Building Event

Carlisle City Council approached our event planner to provide a team building event for one of their departments. Having worked with us on a previous occasion, the organisers were confident that the group would benefit from some time with us. With clear objectives for a group reward to improve working relationships, we suggested Raft Building and the Treasure Chest at Talkin Tarn Country Park, near Carlisle, Cumbria.

The group arrived for lunch in the Education Cabin at Talkin Tarn, and were briefed, ready for their afternoon of activities. They began with raft building and quickly constructed some robust rafts, working well as a team.

A quick review and spot of cake and we headed out to tackle the Treasure Chest Challenge.

​The competition was on as the 2 teams went head to head to complete a number of short challenges. Each challenge tested their communication and cooperation, allowing leadership and other qualities to shine. It was a close finish as the winning team unlocked the treasure chest and won the prizes within.

Initial feedback from this event was very positive, every participant had a great time and it was felt that barriers had been broken down within the team.
